"Back To School Night"

Willie went to bed early today because he seemed pretty tired while I picked him up from the extended care. He even begged me to pick him up earlier everyday. It makes me feel guilty. Hopefully the after school program starting in Oct. will make the time passes by faster. I registered Mandarin, Lego Engineering, and Chess classes for him. Although the Chess class is for grade 1-5, both Peng and I feel Willie is talented and should give it a try.

My day was OK. Went to Willie's school tonight for the "Back To School Night". I sat on Willie's chair in his classroom w/ other parents and the teacher gave us some updates what's going on at school. They've got a huge touch-screen whiteboard in each room. Still haven't figured out how the 3D graphs changed by finger touching (something similar as the iron man was designed) but I was pretty amazed by how hi-tech nowadays have been involved for these little kids. At the end, the teacher handed out some colorful paper and asked each parent to write down some notes or make some art craft for their kid. I folded a blue airplane and wrote "Willie's Airplane from Mom&Dad" on the wings. Peng drew a funny looking Dino w/ some non-sense dino notes. That was fun.

Haven't started my peer reviews yet. Sigh....what a torturing! :(
